Episode 70: The Banner Saga

August 5, 2014

Wherein special guest Gnomebitten shares with me his experiences regarding a Norse-themed turn based tactics/Oregon trail choice making game.

NB: The fight we talk about might have been harder on me because Gnome played it after they released a patch to make it less brutal.

Episode 30: Fez

June 13, 2012

A longform review wherein medibot and I wax about our experiences with the game for the XBLA.

We weave into this our own differences of perspective, I accuse medibot of being wrong and try to catch him in bitter lies, medibot demands of all game designers that they make him care, we at first try to stop the bleeding and then just let the fur fly.

It’s a 100 minute melee over a swank hat.

Episode 6: Sequence

November 4, 2011

Sometimes medibot comes up to me with a twinkle in his eye and I know that he won’t be able to see straight until we review a game that he’s discovered.

This time the game is called simply “Sequence,” and while we don’t work for a magazine and have no dog in promoting the developer or anything, we owe it to ourselves and each other to express our opinions about it aloud.

And in this case, on the internet.
